Mayday Hills Tasting Session

Join us for a unique tasting experience at as we welcome the talented team from Bridge Road Brewers for an exclusive guided tasting of four exceptional brews that showcase the creativity and passion of our friends from Beechworth.

Featured Beers:

Mayday Hills Gruit: Bridge Road teamed up for this brew with renowned chef and flavour alchemist, Michael Ryan and his Beechworth Bitters Co. to draw from Michael’s extensive experience of crafting small batch amari and cocktail bitters. Gruit is a truly unique beer, one that celebrates the creative minds and collective skill of two iconic Beechworth producers.

Mayday Hills Feijoa: This spontaneously fermented wild ale was aged in oak barrels with locally picked feijoas from Beechworth and Wandiligong. It’s a nuanced, acid-forward beer with floral undertones that will continue to evolve with age. One half of a special Mayday Hills dual release, ageing the same base beer on alternate fruit additions. Pair Feijoa Sour with Sauvignon Blanc Sour for the ideal vertical tasting.

Mayday Hills Sauvignon Blanc Sour: This spontaneously fermented wild ale was aged in oak barrels on grape skins from Sorrenberg’s 2024 harvest. It’s a bright, acid-forward beer with soft, fruit undertones that will continue to evolve with age.

Bridge Road Brewers B2 Mach 13: The 13th edition of Bridge Road’s annual birthday beer maintains the unmistakable combination of complex dark malts, fruity Belgian yeast characters and big punchy hops. Mach 13 sees us going all-in with a Spectrum hop combo and an ABV of 10.4. An artful balance of these familiar B2 elements with layers of Spectrum hops makes this a beer to savour. What do we call it? A Black Belgian Double Spectrum IPA.
