Mystery Box Home Brew Competition

Format:

MYSTERY BOX: Keep one element consistent among all brewers
Grain Bill – 50:50 Pilsner Malt and Wheat
Specifically, Wheat malt (gladfield) and Pilsner malt (gladfield), from The Hop and Grain.
Mention you’re a Hopsters Member for a 10 % discount.

Aim:

Be as creative as you can, or would like, with adjuncts, hop-character, yeast and brewing technique and skill.
Two $75 bar tabs up for grabs for “Most Creative” and “Crowd Favourite”.
These are both highly subjective, but it should hopefully be fun and reward quality, tasty brews.

Stipiulations:

Brewers need to turn in their recipe to Jill@hopsters.coop with their beer submission
Estimated submission volume is 2-3 L **
Submit in keg, cans or bottles
Notification of intent to submit is requested to manage the Judging day, and ** may influence required volume
No fee for submission.
Submission by: Sunday 17th May

Judging:

Is open to members to attend and participate
$15 corkage ticket fee – grab your tix here
Judging date: Sunday 24th May 1-4 pm, doors open from 12:30 pm.
